[Devil’s Workshop] Mechanized Armor of Pulp Destruction released plus a Bonus…

Louis Porter Jr. Design, in association with Devil’s Workshop, has released Mechanized Armor of Pulp Destruction for d20 Pulp. Here is information on this product:

Mechanized Armor of Pulp Destruction
With the advent of future technologies and the advancement of scientific knowledge during the Pulp era, the development and creation of large scale mechanized armor was a natural leap to be made from the conception and advancement of tanks and other types of armory. Mechanized Armor is best described as the precursor to the future’s Mecha. The main use and purpose for these gigantic metal monstrosities is to cause great damage and havoc to any and all that might be foolish enough to go against them. This supplement and sourcebooks was created with the development of Mechanized Armor for use in the Neo-Pulp and Pulp setting, like Haven: City of Bronze for example. Here from RPGNow.com.

Plus as a bonus, Devil’s Workshop releases as a free download, Free Robots of Pulp Destruction.

Free Robots of Pulp Destruction
In this time period, the desires of mankind have not reached up to their imagination and dreams. The concept of a fully autonomous robot at this time period is little more that a dream. At this time robots are quite simply, mechanized monstrosities of metal and wires. At this point, most robots are capable of the simplest of orders, like “Attack them” or “Go there and stand”. These are the most complex ideas they can normally fathom. Even though with their limited mental capacity, their natural resilience and impressive durability make them quite impressive to use in battle. This sourcebook was created to help make it possible for GM and players to use robots in their Pulp and Neo-Pulp setting like Haven: City of Bronze. Available exclusively at RPGNow.com.

Hi Louis,

FYI: This is still listed on RPGNow as "Backordered" and "Not Validated for Sale"

There is an issue with this product. I will be handling and answering this issue personally in an announcement coming this week.

After I downloaded the product I e-mailed RPGNow and notified them that the product's Section 15 was wrong -- it listed Ronin Arts products but with names that nowhere near matched the product's actual titles. Why Louis didn't simply correct the problem is beyond my understanding.

This is becoming a common problem -- incorrect Section 15s -- with many new PDF releases.

Because it was a mistake. People do make those, remember?

Is it mistake to improperly reference the Advanced Player's Guide in the Section 15 of the Race Creation Cookbook as well?

Or publicizing the Weapons of Starship Destruction 2 release by infringing on the name of Malhavoc Press.

Or using closed content zone rules from Mastering Iron Heroes, in Weapons of Starship Destruction 2?

Which are mistakes and which are intentional violations of the Open Game License?

Now that's facinating. When I read "The Only Pointed Based Race Creation System for d20!" in the product's description I just assumed they had no knowledge of Green Ronin's Advanced Player's Guide. But if the product is listed (no matter how incorrectly) in their Section 15 then they obviously knew that they couldn't be publishing the only point system for race creation.

Pulp Robots,

I'm sure I'm missing something, but...

Aren't Mechanized Robots and such more science fiction than Pulp?

I'm not sure exactly what NEO-Pulp is.

Could you please explain that concept to me?

I can understand a publisher being upset over OGL violations or incorrect declarations, but the non-publishers around here who get their panties in a bunch over this seriously need to get a life. It's pathetic.
