Devil's Plow - Leaving Ironcraig

For Komodo
[sblock]Slowly but surely, the hobgoblin works the rope lose and brings it up to his jaws. Several minutes later, Troll's bonds rest both broken on the ground and frayed betwixt his teeth. While his chains still bind his hands, the hobgoblin is finally free.[/sblock]

Jonath mumbles quietly to himself as he leans back against a tree, his bedroll nearby, along with a half-empty tin of salted pork.

Not too shabby.
The Dwarf thinks as he slowly finishes his meal, wiping his fork on a piece of cloth in his pocket. Taking a swig of water from his canteen, the dwarf crushes the tin and drops it in a small hole.

He then begins to undo the more burdening pieces of his armor, mainly the pauldrons and plate skirt, while keeping the more important pieces on for the remainder of his watch. Jonath takes the removed pieces of armor and places them within one of the sacks that he carried with him. If it were to rain, the water would surely ruin the fine steel.

Taking care not to jingle his manacles, Troll carefully rolls over onto his stomach. He takes a furtive glance toward the dwarf, then begins to slowly inch forward, using his elbows to push himself along the ground towards the edge of the clearing.

When (if) he reaches the trees, he pushes himself onto his haunches, crawls forward another couple of feet, and then stands up and presses himself against a tree.[/sblock]

Komodo only.
[sblock]Sorry, but there aren't many trees here. You're under an outcropping of rock on the trail around a mountain. The trail twists off out of sight about 40 feet away from your location. There's a couple trees (because Pheonix said so and I didn't think to contradict him), but not enough to take cover behind.[/sblock]

Komodo again:
[sblock]Troll stealthily makes his way across the camp, despite the dwarf's keen eyesight. Crouched behind a boulder, he can see Jonath and Tobe. The others are hidden from view. His equipment is near the fire, as is the Duke, Ethyan, Tobe, and Thraxus and their belongings. The horses are tied up near the small tree Troll was bound to.[/sblock]

Steve Gorak's eyes only:OOC: I think they're plotting against us...

OOC: Could be, but ou characters wouldn't know about it. However, I like the idea of these spoiler buttons, it could make the plotters think that they're being plotted against too ;)[/sblock]

For Ringmereth's eyes only!
[sblock]The hobgoblin takes a final surreptitious glance at the dwarf to make sure that the watchman is remaining still, then ducks back behind the rock and holds the chain binding his arms in his left hand in order to keep it quiet. Taking special care to stay out of the dwarf's sight, Troll slowly begins to scale the nearby mountain, heading towards a sizeable cluster of loose rocks.

Hide +9, Move Silently +10

Upon reaching the stones, Troll carefully places several smaller rocks upon a larger one. He gives the large rock a shove, sending it tumbling down the hill in the opposite direction, and scurries back to the boulder at the base of the hill.[/sblock]

Yay, it lives.

As per usual, Komodo only:

[sblock]Troll sneaks up the hill with easy, despite his manacles. When reaches a good vantage point, he puts his plan into motion and sends the rocks down the hill. They clatter down to the path and off the mountainside, landing a second later with a barely audible crack. Meanwhile, Troll sneaks back down the mountainside undetected and awaits a reaction.[/sblock]

Psychotic only:
[sblock]Jonath's monotonous watch duty is broken by the clatter of stones falling down the mountainside. Off to his right, he spots a large stone bounce off the path and down the mountain. Looking around, he fails to see the source of the disturbance.[/sblock]
