Devoted Defender - can you take the op attack AND switch?

The first 2 bonus thingys a devoted defender can do is 1) switch places when within 5 feet of a charge to take an attack and 2) make an op attack when adjacent to an enemy who attacks your charge. I have a few questions and I apologize if they were answered in errata somewhere . . .

Can you do both of these things on the same turn? I.E. you are within 5 feet of your charge and someone who is next to both of you attacks your charge, can you take your op attack and THEN switch places? (I.E. take a swing at the bad guy and then take the hits from the bad guy?)

Sure, as long as he's in your threat area when he makes the attack on your charge, and you take your Defensive Strike before you use Harm's Way. (If you use Harm's Way first, the attack is now targeting you instead of your charge.)
