In testing this out I determined that my characters from now on will all be carrot farmers. No more dangerous dungeons for me.

800gp for two sacks of dried carrots! Beat that you kobold swine!

Note that the dried carrots are priced by the ounce. It then assumes your sack is 100% full to the brim of them. That is a LOT of carrots.

In the very first set I generated with that thing, I got a crate stuffed with platinum, worth 30,000 gold peices... Players would never leave crates alone ever again if they found that.

This is what I got with one push of the button:

Sacks (Medium 1d6)
Medium Sack: 800oz, 50pt, 50lb
- Sack (2): Onions (Dried) 5sp per oz (400gp)
- Sack (1): 2d4 Orstar Rose Quartz (Gems), 10gp each
Crates (Medium 1d6)
Medium Crate: 27cu.ft, 3232oz, 202pt, 202lb
- Crate (2): Horseradish (Spice/Seasoning) 1cp per oz (33gp)
- Crate (1): Sweet cicely (Spice/Seasoning) 1sp per oz (324gp)
Barrels (Medium 1d6)
Medium Barrel: 32gal, 4168oz, 256pt, 256lb
- Barrel (1): Platinum (Precious Metals) 500gp per lb (128,000gp)

Darn, no carrots! But love those platinum pieces! So this is what the the first level characters find in the first storeroom they come to. I'd retire right then!

Edit: And it took six tries at the default setting to get less than 10,000 GPs worth of stuff. But it was still well over 1,000 GPs worth.

A Mint Golem killed my grandfather.

Mint Golems are trained in the ways of the Ranger, and they have favored enemy (carrot farmers). Was your grandfather a carrot farmer, or merely a *defender* of carrot farmers and their spurious ilk?

It works a lot better if you bring up the options and leave out the more expensive toys. If you're filling a warehouse with produce, WTH are platinum bars doing there? :) I played around with it about 30 minutes. Nice selection of produce. If you limit it to just art work it makes a pretty decent art generator too.

Right, but I have never seen them interconnected like that.
You haven't looked at all of their past generators, then. This is nothing new.

The date on the thing is 4-28-07...
It's something they've been doing for years. Folks at WotC have also gone to McDonald's in the past week. That isn't linked to the DI, either.

Wait wait wait... you're saying there won't be Dragon Adventures Online toys with my happy meals in September?
