diagonal moving in difficult terrain

woot 15 playin d&d for 6 yrs now(first post) uhh well we had an arguement when we were in difficult terrain and we wanted to move with the diagonal spaces and i just want to know how many 5ft equivalents are in each square for the first diagonal and all after that plz let me know thx

Normally, every two diagonals you move cost you 15 feet (5 for the first, then 10 for the 2nd, then 5 for the 3rd, then 10 for the 4th, etc.). Thus, moving two squares diagonally costs 15 feet of movement.

The rules for difficult terrain say that each square costs 2 squares' worth of movement, so moving one square diagonally in difficult terrain costs as much movement as moving two squares diagonally through normal terrain - 15 feet.
