I want the d30 to be banned for all time from the gaming table, as well as the d100!

but not the d2 (I got one at a con from the people at living room games sure it's just a coin but it is still cool...

For someone who likes playing combat-oriented characters, the inability to roll double digits on a d20 more that twice in a single session is too much to bear!

Brother!!

I know exactly how you feel, for I suffer a similiar curse. It only seems to affect attack rolls, though. I can roll fine on a saving throw or a skill check, but once I roll an attack, the die chokes. It was really sad to see the paladin of the party miss hitting everything that moves (and even a few things that don't) despite being high level. I've suffered from this curse for close to 5 years now. Actually, I think it started back when 3e came out. I initially played a sorcerer, so I didn't really notice it until my paladin.

I've noticed that the curse doesn't travel if I use other dice to simulate rolling a d20 (say, 2 d10s or a d10 and a d6).

My players loved my curse when i was GMing. Their PCs were invincible. Ultimately, I've had to change to a different game system to be able to beat the PCs around a little.

D10 because it's not a platonic solid. Can't we be civilized and use D20s numbered 1-10 twice?

I'm sure you mean well, but let's not forget that the most civilized way is a d20 numbered 0-9 twice. I would also like to take this opportunity to voice my sympathy for the d12. It is a very nice die that doesn't deserve being as underused as it is these days.

Viva d12!

The d6 has always hated me and I don't know why. I get fair rolls on every other die, but the d6 always seems to know exactly what I don't want, and always turns it up.

My monsters have to either use longswords or daggers or they'll never hurt the players. Fireball is a useless spell to me... I'd much rather cast a magic missile or a cone of cold.

That die type hates me with a passion, and now it's my chance to return the favor. Down with the 6!

Nooo!!! Why won't you fools acknowledge the power of the d12?!? Aargh, down with the ubiquitous d6! It's not too late- we can still save the noble d12.

Massive lurking hordes of d12 lovers- act now- Vote out the d6!!!
