I dunno. Doesn't constitution represent the ability to withstand damage? They're dead and slightly decayed, but they're still holding together. In fact, a well-preserved corpse can be darn tough. Like jerky (only not tasty).

Constitution represents a many factors. I understand their reasoning for not including con scores in 3.5, but I'm glad they gave everything all scores. Makes things so much more simple, plus it's easy to give reasons why objects and undead of scores.

Eh. I would have been just as happy (probably even happier) if they had Charisma function as Constitution for Undead. Still, having a Con score of some sort does make things simpler in some respects.

No. So far at least, that was Hit Points. Constitution used to affect the ability to withstand damage, but was more broad than that.
