It's sort of like how snakes can sense earthquakes- some D&D players evidently have the ability to sense a new edition on the horizon, and anytime that happens, Edition Wars are bound to flare up.

(Speaking of which, wouldn't it be cool to make an Edition Wars! game? You know, like how Dragon used to run little mini-games in it- Orcwars!, Clay-O-Rama, etc.)

People tend to post in groups. One person posts something, that gets people thinking, so they post about it some more. But, instead of just sticking to the one thread, 3 or 4 of them get made

I was just being facetious, hence the smiley. I don't happen to think there's a 4th edition coming anytime soon.

Psion- I like that Superstitious Pigeons article. Seems to me I remember talking about this vaguely in psyche class in high school, but I don't think I was paying attention at the time, so it's pretty much brand new to me. Interesting!
