I wish everyone was kidding.
I have to say Rizak is fun to play an on line PbP with. He is very good at characterization and a solid thinker when it comes to taking action. I would sit down and play a game with him, irregardless of edition, because it would be a fun game.
Besides, I'll bet his house rules have gotten rid of much of what I would not like about whatever rules set he does use.
Plus the on-line PbP we are in is proof that the "edition" does not matter, since Ivid has let each of use create our character using whichever rules set we like best. C&C for me, 2E for at least one other, Rizaks favorite, 3E for two others, and Ivid has us all playing and acting together because he handles all the resolution.
Edition only matters when we make it an issue. Otherwise we can work to get past what we don't like and have fun playing the game I hope we all love.
