Ouch, Krieg. Your words are daggers that cut into my heart. Have you no sense of childlike wonder? It's a collector's edition and it's neat.

I'm afraid I'm with Krieg. That sort of money is bordering on what it would cost to buy the book and take it to an independant artist for a unique cover.

Catalyst Studios, the people who did the cover of the d20 Call of Cthulhu book*, have a neat resin process they do to things like game books with orginal art or I could probably hunt up somebody to do a thick armor quality leather hide cover.

*Disclaimer: They're friends of mine, but I think they still have a few CoC d20 books with the resin demon face cover if anybody is interested.

I've seen the book for sale online for $40-something. That's not completely outrageous, I think.
