Did you just add an ad...or something?

For the passed...more than 10 minutes...I've been waiting for each click of mine to load...and load...and load. Refresh, loag and load and load...

Site's been working great all day, until about 10-15 minutes ago.

The point it seems to be getting stuck at is "Waiting for partner.googleads.blah blah blah."

Just so you know. Maybe there's something wonky with a file format or something.

Seems to be somewhat/mostly alright now...or better for the most part.

But, just again FYI, the "pubads.g.doubleclick.net" seems to be the other getting stuck/sticky point. I have no idea what that means...if anything. It could very well be my computer.

It seems, now, it's either not getting stuck at all or it gets stuck on "pubads" and requires me to "X" and refresh it, and then it's fine.

Is this just something with my own computer?

In december I kept seeing an animated google ad for somesort of werewolf/vampire mmo, which was so laggy it froze the browser totally when I tried to scroll past it.

Problem is that google ads are mostly personalized and you might be the only one seeing the one that's doing it to you. If your problem has a similar cause to mine, that is.

I believe that in the past Morrus has asked for the specific ad's address (not sure how to do it, maybe right click and copy URL?) so he could block it.

I have no idea which ad it might have been. JUst got the ENworld background and top left logo...everything else was blank (except the lil' box in my browser saying "waiting for..."

If it starts happening again, I'll try right clicking the banner (good idea renau1g) and see what it might say so Morrus might now. I suspect since it's stuck waiting for the ad, it will say nothing...but ya never know with these confounded come-puterizing-muhwutzits.

But it seems to be ok now....thanks to whomever for whatever they did.
