Die Roller?

First Post
I'm starting an "over the Net" campaign with friends out of state, and I'm looking for a simple utility for die rolls. I've seen a few posts for Klooge.Werks, OpenRPG, etc., but I don't think I need anything that complicated- we plan on using Roger Wilco for voice chat so that we can play somewhat like we would in person. The major barrior is dice rolls... As a DM, I'd rather not have to perform all rolls for everyone; on the other hand, I can only imagine the problems if someone were to "coincidentally" a few crits in a row if I left the rolls to the players offline.

Any suggestions? Is there a simple way to do this that I'm not considering? Or would it be worthwhile to have everyone install OpenRPG or one of the other utilities?

That's pretty close- what I'd like, however, is to find something simple (like that page) that is a "shared" utility. So, for example, when a player makes his roll, I (and all other players) will see it. I don't think a purely web-based application will work for that purpose (unless there's some kind of chat functionality, or something similar).

Yeah, that might be difficult to find. I'd suggest using a "MUSH client" program with a die roller plugin.

You can do that in irc clients. I never really set one up, but I've played games with them. Google turns up quite a few (here), but I can't vouch for any of them, since I don't know what our DM was using.
