The stats for Orcus appeared in Dungeon mag and they were NOT official..just the author's interpretation (I asked for clarification so I could remove him from the CC if needed).


Satan and jehovah/Jesus (whichever you prefer) are not in the new DDG. That can of worms has never been opened by WotC/TSR and prob never will be.

Although, way back in Dragon (like #22 or something) there was an article called "The Politics of Hell" by Alexander Von Thorn....it statted Satan in 1e terms.

What about the Celtic, Aztec, Sumerian and Chinese gods? all of which were in the 1eD&D? That stinks if they aren't in the new one.

Yeah, well, I'm not too phased. I'd rather them be done in a supplement that applies to them than crammed into a DDG with too little info on them.

And, hey, with not every pantheon being included, I can finally use my near-encyclopedic knowledge of mytholy to make a quick buck or two detailing gods for someone. ^_^

I used to have that article (S'mon has it now), I thought Satan was pretty weak though: only 333hp.

Yes, it was ! I have the article in one of my Best of the Dragon issues. Can't say I like the idea of the Nine Hells having a theology similiar to that in Christianity (with "fallen angels", Satan, etc.) though.

"The Deities & Demigods is available for pre-order only. This product, along with all other products ordered with it, will be shipped to arrive at your door on or around April 12th, 2002."

Hopefully, this is on target.
