Different Art, Same Stats

I really like using monstrous misdirection whenever I get the chance - my latest had the PCs fighting a bunch of large mummies, all armed with large sized weapons and some armored, and one of which was the size of a small hill giant. By the time they were done, they were cursing them (especially when the clerics burned multiple turn attempts on the "boss").

In actuality, they were a combination of advanced goblin zombies (using the SRD stats of minotaur zombies without the horn/gore attack) and two corpses animated by two hell wasp swarms. All were wrapped in bandages and had gone through physical mummification rituals (they actually were mummies), and several were animated as zombies when the PC's breached the inner doors of their crypt.

Side note - I will never again use hellwasp swarms without an excel spreadsheet. Do you have any idea how many different forms of damage reduction and split damage you have to deal with if you use those things and their animation capabilities?
