Differing backgrounds in gaming groups

First Post
In the Photos thread, pogre was talking about the many different jobs poeple in his group had:
Our gaming group consists of a Restaraunt manager, a Software programmer, a church administrator, a University professional, an architectural drafter, a chemical engineer now in law school, and of course an attorney turned high school coach and teacher.

It got me thinking, and he's damn right! Currently I'm playing one day a week with the area sales manager of a large book chain, a Classical Greek student, a barmaid and a trainer, and another with an advertising exec, a bus driver, a computer games tester, a network analyst and a low budget film-maker. Before moving to London, my regular gaming buddies included an immigration officer, a technical author, a gas-station attendant, an electrician, a warehouseman, a taxi dispatcher (and her retired mother) and an accountant.

How about your groups? Any really way out combinations?
