Differing backgrounds in gaming groups

My group consists of
Retired engineer (DAD)
Retired bookstore owner/teacher (MOM)
Paint store clerk and photographer (HUSBAND)
Librarian at a public library (ME)
Library clerk (cataloger) (BEST FRIEND)

temporarily out of the game:
Medically retired city employee (was a truck driver and sewer guy)

Other game:
Game shop owner
Computer Security/fraud guy
Out of work guy
Secretary? woman
Retired city employee listed above
fry cook
assorted college and high school students who come and go too quickly to matter!

I had worked for an online game comapny until their stock hit .11 cents per share...

Most of our group were folks I met at that job. Acrtually, I got that job after a fellow gamer brought his boss, the owner of the company, to my game!

Currently, we consist of:

Deli clerk (me) I play hack'n'slash, my job is slice'n'dice!
A front desk clerk
A game level designer
an accountant
former sys admin, now freelance photographer
15 year old student, son of the above
13 year old student, my daughter
