Diplomatic Immunity: Tiberius and Claudia

"Another bath sounds lovely--it reminds me of home...well, of the good times of home."

“Well, let’s get dressed enough to make the trek to the baths then, as I’m all for bringing back happy memories of home.”

*Claudia nods agreeably and throws on a simple outfit in preparation to head to the baths.*

"I do hope they will be open at this hour."

 

[unleashed]

*Tiberius grabs a shirt and slips it on as they head out.*

“So do I, though I wouldn’t be too surprised to find they’re open most hours of the day.”

*Tiberius and Claudia head out to find that the baths are indeed open at this hour. The servants lead them to a private bath, and Claudia carefully doffs her outfit and slips into the water.*

*Tiberius doffs his own clothing and slips in opposite Claudia, gazing into her eyes and smiling, as he lets the heat soak into his muscles.*

*Claudia waits until Tiberius has time to let his muscles relax first before drifting over towards him to hug up next to him within the bubbling warmth of the hot spring water.*

"Let's just relax a little while longer," she offers quietly, "Although this makes me wish I could stay here forever."

“Me too,” Tiberius whispers, welcoming Claudia into his embrace, before adding with a hint of longing, “If only it was possible...”
