Perhaps they did, but if you're going to shoot down everything that might possibly work in this situation out of hand, because "my first TPK in along time!!!", then I think "out for blood" barely covers it.

Start slipping coins under the door slowly, but fast enough to keep both ogres buisy. Try to stall for the 20 rounds. If the Ogres do break through, use prest. on the now full coin pouch and accuse one of the Ogres of strealing it from the first. The fight should then give you enough time for the PCs to unparalize.

I really like that idea. Shove coins under the door and say "This is for you, Mister Ogre," then see if they start fighting. If they don't, shove some coppers under and say they're for the other ogre, then get them to fight by talking trash about the ogre you gave coppers to, and telling him how much better the other ogre is. If they start to get agressive towards you, use presitidigitaion to cause ghoul scent (a weak version, of course) to pour out from under the door. The gnolls will smell it and might think twice.

At the very least, this should make for a memorable death.

We did indeed supposedly get ourselves in the situation but the "situation" was one where "if there is a noise made the guard gets the entire dungeon level to surround and destroy the party". A bit exaggerated , but not much.

I thought I'd post an update for all those (2?) interested. I used prestidigitation to make the party look dead and hid in the room. The ogres and gnolls broke in, saw the party killed by ghouls/ghasts. Their dwarf commander came in and told the ogres to put all the dead bodies in the prisoner room in anticipation of them turning into ghouls/ghasts in 1-4 days. A cleric would then rebuke them to control them later. I snuck out of the room and hid.

The party simply rested that day in the room to regain spells. They ensured any dead bodies would not turn into ghouls. I slept in a little used armoury while my rat familiar watched. I then broke the party out of the room and we continued on.....

Nice work. Though I have to say your DM is a lot more generous with what you can pull off with prestidigitation than I am.
