dirty tricks attempts

Oh, thanks for the answers. So the DC isn't affected by other feats, how sad... And using shock trooper with brutal strike would nerf the DC anyways.

So knock down is unchanged? That means I can hit someone after I get the free trip succefull with improved trip? And I can cleave too? That would be awesome, and added to Robilar's Gambit this means some tricks. But I can't find the book that update it. This site discuss about it too, but I failed to see the knock down feat at the updates suggested Knock-Down [Archive] - Giant in the Playground Forums

And what about (8)? That is mecanically weird, but it could make some conjurations spells more powerfull and illusions that cause damage.

I first thought about Blistering Spell because I like fire most. I know that, after the feat piercing cold, cold is the best element, but I like the flavor of fire spells. Don't you know some feat or class that duplicate the effect of piercing cold for other elements?
Well, be careful on what you consider dropping. It was a bad term on the creators part and never was officially qualified to know what it really means. Many would only say incapacitated or dead things count as dropped. Though the representative idea of knockdown and cleave do seem to coincide well. You hit them around the legs, they fall, and then the strike continues.

I was thinking: Robilar's Gambit, Improved Trip and Knock Down = just a move action you could provoke an AoO and hit, trip and hit again. That not even consider cleave. Combine that with Travel Devotion feat and, wow, you'll kill an army. Of course, you should boost your AC to the skye or make your fellow wizard to make you incorporeal, with a weapon of spectral touch.

But I can't figure out the book that has this feat (knock down), I don't know if there is an errata that fixes it... (Actually I know the book and the errata of the 3.0, but I'm asking about the 3.5 =P)

And what about the Illusion (or summon) spell + snowcasting feat + flash frost feat? How that would work?

Rumbletiger, that option is good, but the minor shape shift are best, because you get reseted temporary HP as a swift action and a lot of other things.
