Dirty Unicorn Games is pleased to announce an agreement by which its products will be distributed by indie publisher 12 to Midnight. Dirty Unicorn Games is a new game studio whose first product is slated for release in early August.
“I'm really excited to be working with 12 to Midnight. These guys are extremely creative and they really know the ins and outs of publishing. I'm grateful to have such a dynamic and business-minded company to work with. Plus, they're all gamers, and hey … that's just cool!” said Jeff Varnes, president of Dirty Unicorn Games.
Under the agreement, Dirty Unicorn Games will independently produce RPG materials to be distributed by 12 to Midnight. In exchange, 12 to Midnight will offer business support, a forum devoted to Dirty Unicorn’s products, and cross-promotion. Dirty Unicorn Games’ first product is called Flatlands: Modern Combat Tiles & Tokens MegaSet 1.
“Jeff and I became acquainted online when we started talking about cross-promotions, but when I saw the quality of his work I was blown away. My partners agree that this is a guy who takes quality as seriously as we do, and we are very pleased that he accepted our offer to distribute his work under the 12 to Midnight banner,” said Preston DuBose, 12 to Midnight president.
Dirty Unicorn Games is a game-design studio, begun in 2004, wholly owned and operated by Jeff Varnes. Projects under development include additional expansions to the Flatlands, and other RPG accessories.
12 to Midnight Inc. is a Texas Corporation formed and incorporated in 2002. Until recently, 12 to Midnight focused solely on modern horror RPG adventures, but the agreement with Dirty Unicorn Games marks the beginning of diversification for the company. Its most recent product is an adventure called Brainwashed.
