It would be exceedingly rare for someone with under 16 Int to pass all three

What do you mean by initial training?

Ah, she found I kobold that wants to learn magic, and Elise wanted to see if she'd be a good canidate for learning. I was hoping that she might be able to canabilise some test she had taken for the Kobold. As she doesn't know how smart the Kobold is, or if wizarding the path for her.

Just looking for some possibilities Elise might know that I wouldn't, we'll see how it goes. :D

My guess would be that the Accademy would frown on actualy teaching her unless she actualy entered. Most of the tests are somewhat abstract and not easy to replicate.

I'm a little confused on DM Credits (maybe it's the alcohol). I have 19 DM credits and want to move my 3rd level character (Lucien Rayes) to 4th level. He's currently 2228 xp away. It says I get 50 xp/ECL, so does that mean I can apply 150 xp/DM point to Lucien and get him to 4th level by expending 15 points?

Question: Are characters able to craft magic items within an adventure if there is substantial 'down time' to do so in? I ask because Kurgahz is leveling up to third and took Craft Wondrous Items. Right after the fights that gave us the XP to level up, we had a month of travelling time. So I was wanting to double check if it was possible to use some of that time for crafting. I wasn't sure if it could only be done outside of adventures or not, so I figured I'd ask.

You would need to have 8 consecutive hours of downtime per day, which I think you do, but yes.

Source on consecutive? If you had 4 per day, can't you do a day of crafting over two days time?

No, that's under Creating Magic Items. The days need not be consecutive any more though in 3.5. They specifically call that out. This implies that the hours must be consecutive (in D&D, if they give a required time and don't call out nonconsecutive, the default is consecutive, just like you can't cast a spell with 1 hour casting time over 60 nonconsecutive minutes), and even if using a liberal interpretation (and with CP available, I see no reason why we'd need to do so), it has to be exactly eight hours per day, not four per day over more days or more than eight over fewer.

The caster works for 8 hours each day. He cannot rush the process by working longer each day. But the days need not be consecutive, and the caster can use the rest of his time as he sees fit.
