Nope. You guys have successfully distracted the dragon guardian. You've done everything you need to do--if Crux was done, we could go right now without waiting on Showdown any further (though there is a point where I need to know the full results of Showdown, but I can start without it).

Does that mean that in Showdown we'll still have time to rape the desert Chief's daughter and sacrifice the little girl to the Blood god? Because that's what we're doing with our luck.

There are a couple adventures that have been proposed and approved, from BibB & thegreyman. Perhaps this is one of those rare & enviable times when there are more adventures than players. I suppose we owe it to RA to let him get his adventure started w/o muddying the waters. But this is Living EN World, not living RA world, and we are all best served by giving all our DMs chances to run things. I'll put myself out on a limb here & say if other DMs will commit to running something, I'll hold my PC (the 5th level Rowan) out of the Mega Adventure & put him in whatever else comes next.

Well, I'm getting ready to run "GM For Hire" for anyone that has a neat backstory they want their PC to follow. But for GM4Hire to work, you need a pool of players - a big part of it is the fact that the lead PC hires his own team to accomplish the task.

I'm going to be very sad if we have to cancel the Mega Adventure because of a matter of days of timing leading to GMs grabbing all the mid-to-high-level PCs. Wik, based on your comments on L4W, I'd expect you to be the first to support a major meta-arc, right?

Juliana wouldn't object to adventuring with Rowan again

Not sure that will materialize, depends on how S2 ends on if she stays for S3.

Cool. For my part, I'd like nothing better than to have started two weeks ago. It's just that we've had some unexpected slowdowns in TCotM--Velmont has vanished for a while and is still gone AFAIK, Erekose has been consistent but still slower after his RL situation got more complicated, and KO2 as well after stepping back as a Judge/Mod. We are currently waiting for KO2 to come and implement the next phase of Ashnar's master plan to escape. If it works, we start immediately!

Cool. Because after the Mega-Adventure starts, I'll either run a Goodman Games adventure (maybe Dragonfiend Pact?), or start up my GMforHire idea (Which is, in keeping with my opinions stated in L4W, a way for a PC to choose how he wishes to effect the world - I'll just be refereeing while the PC sets his own goals, and hires his own companions).
