Um, just changed it because there was a Demon in your way... :D
You guys can still kill him, I hope Troi showed someone else his kewl Whip tricks...
Bwahahah. Whatever helps you sleep at night. :)

Okay, since you edited, too, seriously. It's okay. I'm only teasing. And it is a better story. Nice little standoff we got!

I mean, there are 11 of you...

Three of whom haven't posted the whole combat - have they been on autopilot for a while during the St. Feragon adventure? Or are they just gone for the holidays?

Hey now...that's not my fault, I didn't say that you guys werent doing all that you could, just that there were plenty of folks to have had a different outcome.

Eh? I wasn't implying that, just wondering where they were, since you happened to have mentioned the number.

Edit: oops, got mixed up in the flurry of posts

As far as the auto-piloted characters go, I have had them act as I thought that they would considering their state (HPs, spells etc...). Poor Thale was taken out quickly and the other two have done what they could.
The XP finals will reflect things.

Frankly, I don't mind that some folks don't make it through; in fact, how realistic is it to only lose one person, possibly, after what began as at least an even strength fight?

Seriously, I wouldn't care if it was Rurik that bit the dust; I have no trouble rolling up a new PC!

Question to Uriel. Are you planning on starting a new adventure after this? Cuz I'm a little afraid that if you do, and any players that have been in 2 of your games so far join in, they'll end up in a league entirely of your own. Nothing personal, but the powers of the characters would scale up along with how many games of Uriel they've played, which might be a bad thing.

Well, I never thought I'd apologize for my games moving along at a fast pace, but here it is, folks...

I'm sorry.

I will endeavor to respond slower, waste more time between action sequences and dawdle and generally bog things down when it is the most simple things in the world to post once a day as a DM top keep things moving.

Did that sound sarcastic? Gosh, I hope not...

With the exception of my Sceptre of Kings game (which thels is part of) in the other boards, which is currently waiting on a player that hasn't posted ina few days, my other games all move along at this clip.

The LEW characters in my games so far have advanced to level 2 and 3, which is completely normal.

Having now recieved more that 2 (I call that 'a few') emails from different LEW players remarking/complaining about the lack of movement in their games, I must say (and I stress that I am really not offended by the inference that, Gods forbid, my games move to efficiently...) that the problem lies not with my speed of game, but with the other DMs who don't update.
As well, I run an online games-store (website not given, so as not to rudely steal business from the sales pages of ENWorld) and work a 'real' job in a Nightclub (which I am now able to retrn to, since my cast is off).Add to that chasing girls, doing the musician thing and RL gaming and....I still am able to post here. I am not bragging that I can multi-task like no one's business, but C'mon, it's not all that hard to sign on once a day (most of you do it for your email) and spend 10 minutes posting as a DM. Most of you have an adventure to draw from. I improvise mine.

Message to the DMs of LEW: Keep up with your games!

There, I'm sure that they will now all jump to it and get things rolling...

On a serious note:As stated before, yes, I was planning on running another game. I did want to continue with some of the things that began with this storyline, although it doesn't neccessitate the same group of characters.
I will refrain from running two this time, for all of those concerned, lest I end up with 6 games finished before any of the rest of them do.
I think I'll go for 3 instead...

Now, off to post in my other games.

:D

To those folks in my game, holding in the Mexican-Standoff:

I have been thinkng about things and I will work it thusly.
Anyone shooting will be able to make a Bluff roll vs. his Sense Motive to get a shot off before he kills Troi.
these include Rurik,Telerin and Tara (unelss Velbrik wants to throw a dagger or something. Anyone else has not readied a weapon, and suddenly whipping out your bow will not beat him to crushing troi's windpipe.
besides, this Mexican Standoff has a time limit. Troi is Poisoned and going to die in 5 more rounds from his wounds.
Let me know if any of you want to take a shot or if you want to accept his terms.
