Dispel Magic

Sorry for this too silly question but I don't get how dispel magic works

suppose I am fighting a hasted, bul strentghted, bear enduranced fighter wielding a longsword +1 and some magical boots whatsoever

can I cast dispel magic at him and check to dispel all of them?
or is it a dispel magic per enchantment , so I need 5 dispel magics casted at him?
and how about the area dispel?
could anyone clarify that for me please

Targeted Dispel gets you one dispel attempt against each spell currently active on the fighter starting with the most powerful (in this case, haste) and then working downward.

With an area Dispel you also start checking from the top-down, but stop once you successfully dispel an effect.

In order to dispel his +1 sword, you need to cast a targeted Dispel on his sword, which, if successful, suppresses it's magic for 1d4 rounds. (ditto for the boots) Also, a target Dispel on his sword will get you a dispel check against any spells (Greater Magic Weapon, Keen Edge, etc) on the sword.
