Divide the Loot!

Eisinrhyr isn't proficient in the bow and prefers to blow things up anyway.
Azeem is a little limp wristed to use the bow very well.
Morcano is not proficient (I believe).
Theodus most likely doesn't want to use a bow (I believe)... at least from his normal shield choice and a possible racial bias.

That leaves Ezieer as its owner?

The good side is that Ezieer is the best archer in the group as it is anyway. If something needs to be shot.. it would behoove the party if Ezieer did the honors. Azeem would get the healing potion and since he can't use the heavy mace very well that Theodus's unless he wants to sell it (however I believe it's better than anything he has at this point). Ezieer will pony up some of his extra cash for identifying the bow's properties and will help out in buying the wand as well (when we get to that point).

Items that are claimed will be added to the character sheets.

Pooled items/coins and items to sell will then be left on the Avonia while you return to the island to investigate further?

Let me know if this is what you all want to do.

I'm going to stash the majority of my coins on the ship as well. (90%)

Sorry I haven't been posting recently, college matters have kept me in a foul mood and rather distracted. Anyway, Theodus would strongly urge (or rather, berate) the others into carrying a bludgeoning weapon with each of them. He has a gauntlet and a shield for bashin', y'know, so he has no need for the mace, staff, or clubs that are part of this loot.

He would be willing to carry and use the bow if no one else in the party really wants to themselves, as he is reasonably strong and is no less skilled in ranged combat than in melee (which is to say, he's as mediocre from a distance as he is up close). :) Theodus is already loaded down enough, one bow and quiver won't really make that worse. If Theodus gets the bow, that'd be his share of the treasure I guess, but otherwise he'd just sell whatever he gets, in order to afford some more healing scrolls or potions later.

Theodus will continue carrying his overburdening possessions with him, since he just plain needs the junk in his backpack....waterskins, cooking utensils, torches, bedroll, hand drum, spare clothes, etc. As usual he'll just take off his backpack whenever on guard or fighting. One of these days he'll discover the wonders of a bag of holding, portable hole, or handy haversack, but oh well.

Well I would assume our primary goal is to place the bow into the hands of someone

1) that will use the bow as a featured attack (aka an Archer).
Barring that...
2) that will be effective with it.
2a) can hit something
2b) can use the bow to its full power

It doesn't sound like you qualify for #2a but may qualify for #1. If that is the case... please don't shoot Ezieer in the back! If #1 doesn't apply.. then Ezieer will try to do the same (since Ezieer is the better shot).

Ezieer would normally use the bow vs those approaching, flying or fleeing... ditching the bow when melee ongoing and flanking opportunites present themselves. During a normal course of action... Ezieer could have the bow in his off hand and be 'at the ready'... enabling him to shoot nearly anytime since he wears a buckler. (in a surprise round might be quite valuable)
