Divine Champion - FRCS vs. PGtF -- significant differences?

There is a prestige class called Divine Champion in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (FRCS) that was apparently reprinted in Player's Guide to Faerun (PGtF). Are there any significant differences between the two versions of this prestige class?

No major changes..

Lay on hands is now exactly like the Paladin's ability... and stacks if the character has paladin levels.

The Smite cannot be combined with another classe's smite... it adds another use if you have some already.

And the bonus feats has a specific, and much reduced list... not just all fighter bonus feats.

Thanks for the quick reply.

:(

I was specifically interested in the class as a way to get some fighter bonus feats for my paladin PC, without totally sacrificing lay on hands and smite.

I suppose I could just pretend I don't know about the new version....

You're welcome.
