So you can levitate, now. Right? Sweet deal! Superpowers are awesome! I figure you're going to take that "air cast", put on a costume (to strike fear in the hearts of criminals) and fight the forces of evil!

Good luck in your crime fighting this week, but remember: with great power, comes great responsibility!

I can not only levitate, but if I need to, I can deal out 3d4 worth of damage with my crutches.

(I thought I wasn't going to get in on this but...)

3d4? 1d4 is an ordinary stick. That means you have to be at least size Huge to weild two at the same time. You must be 15 feet tall. No-wonder 12 damage doesn't knock you out.

These are Massachusetts War Crutches, originally made popular by John Adams when he fought the British during the Civil War. An ancient and respected martial art.

You're lucky you weren't in my game. I house rule that falls do Con damage.
I must be in your game then, because when I fell down the stairs, I was weak and hurted for a few weeks.

And if you're lucky (or maybe if you whine enough) you just might even get the OT forum renamed in your honor... (just don't let the fame go to your head...)

I found out three weeks ago that I have a broken foot...and I've got at least another three weeks to go in a cast...fun, fun.

Hope you get better, Djeta!

Injuries from stairs are actually very common, so it's not just you. Where I work, they have a very strict handrail policy. We got a nice memo last year explaining how often it happens and that any employee not using the handrail on stairs is subject to disciplinary action or termination. So, as you can guess, we're pretty careful about it. Anyway, heal fast... and it does suck about missing work when you have no one to do the work when you're out.

I suppose this could happen if you hit your head too hard...

Rotten luck, Djeta. My wife fell and sprained her ankle a couple months ago, and ended up in an air cast with crutches, too. She had to try to take care of 2 two-year-olds (ours and one she babysits) with limited mobility. On the other hand, she didn't miss out on a week of work.

Heal soon!
