DM looking for age 30+ professionals for DnD 3.5 game in Tempe, Arizona AZ

First Post
I’m setting up a story-focused DnD 3.5 game in the Tempe/Chandler area on Sunday evenings from 6-10pm. I’m a 39 year old professor at ASU. I’m looking for age 30+ similar professionals to play in the game. We’ll keep the game small (3-4 players) so that we can focus on roleplaying. DnD experience isn’t crucial, but being a pleasant, fun, laid-back, considerate person is – The most important thing is for everyone to have a fun, relaxing, imaginative time. Reply if this sounds like you and lets talk : ) Doug

ps. I'd also love to join a similar game

keywords: Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, Chandler, Gilbert, Arizona

Good luck on your game. If I find anyone in your area while I'm digging, I'll be glad to point them your way.

For my own part, I'm running a game with 5 players, ages 27 - 37 every other Saturday and I'm looking to start a similar game every other Tuesday, 8 to midnight. Like yours, this is a story-oriented campaign. I'm hoping to disprove the inverse IQ theorem of large groups. (Two heads are better than one, but three heads is infinitely worse.)

I am on the north end of the valley, near the 51 and the 101, (Paradise Valley) if you don't mind a little travel. I'm hoping that one of my Saturday players who missed a session switches to the new game so as to not be behind.

Damn. Two people seeking players in my area. Well, I'm interested in either/both. Swift2plunder would actually be ideal for me as I live pretty much at T-Bird and the 51. I have a once-a-month game on a currently random saturday (whichever saturday of the month works for everyone) out Hardy and 5th. How immediate are you guys looking to start?

Doug, please post some contact info. I know of one person who fits your profile who's looking for a game, and who lives somewhat nearby (Gilbert).

If you want to play then get in touch already! :-)

The Saturday game is underway and full, but I'd like to keep an alternate list.

My mid-week game will start as soon as we have four characters drawn up. That gives any fifth player who might be lurking out there a little slack to get in. We discuss scheduling on the paq_dnd mailing list.
