I second Kid Charemagne, I think that would be excellent seminars for next years GenCon. I would sign up, especially if Piratecat was teaching!
 


I agree wholeheartedly with Peter: pay close attention to people who are GMing you, see what you like, see what you dont' like, and then work to incorporate the things into your games. I have learned a ton, and improved my GMing skills almost exponentially since using some of the techniques of Mark, whom I playtest with occaisionally, and Piratecat, whom I had the pleasure to learn Feng Shui through his game at the EN Chicago Gameday 2.

DM school you say? I think that a lot of people misunderstand the term Role-Playing Game because they overlook the word GAME! Any DM worth his salt should be able to provide the players with fun and adventure without stressing out over whether or not he has been sufficiently trained. Let experience come through play rather than rigorous study. But if you insist on this tom-foolery, then how do i enroll?
