D&D 5E DM Screen in January

At GenCon I spoke briefly with Chris Lindsay of WotC. I asked him when the Dm Screen is scheduled to come out, and he told me January.

If they follow the same pattern as the book releases, that looks like January 20, with WPN Core stores getting it January 9. Please note, January is official, the exact dates are my projections of the schedule.

edit: I remember months ago seeing a listing for the DM Screen for January, in fact I posted here about it, but have not seen anything since, which prompted my question to Chris.

5 months seem like a long time for a DM screen. I think GF9 has one coming in a week or so.

GF9's screen sounds more Hoard of the Dragon Queen-specific. The preview video said the inside of the screen would list the names of key NPCs and details about locations from the adventure, so it may not be useful outside of Tyranny of Dragons.

Right, the HotDQ screen is likely going to be campaign specific, like the ones from Murder at Balder's Gate and Legacy of the Crystal Shard.
