Dm Tomorrow? Sure!

Hey all,

Seems I have been asked to DM tomorrow so only have a few hours to prepare. Was thinking about taking a ready made quest and modifying it. Anyone have recommendations on Lvl 1 (3 players) quests? Or slightly higher level but i will tone it down after..

The group consists of a Rogue, Sorc and Treehugger (Opps, i mean Druid lol ).
They are very experienced group of players and we are just starting over.

So any quests that are recommended for such a low level?

What is the setting you are using? Is this going to be a one shot or the start of a campaign?

Fearun is the setting (Using 3.5 rules).

It may be good for an intro for a long campaigne, but for that I would like to plan it more... So it could be for a 1,2,3 shot (we play in 5 hour shifts). An outside setting may be good because of the druid...

Note: Normally were not very big on pre-made quests but hey, with so little time, a little modifications to them if nessecary wouldn't be so bad

if you are running basically a generic setting I would go with one of the Dungeon Crawl Classics for pure fun factor.

Though if you want a better more origional plot you might want to check out others.

There are a number of low-level options from Goodman Games, and some of them are more outdoorsy than others for your treehugger. I think maybe Into the Wilds might be a possiblity.

I ran it recently, not much preparing needed. I had loads of fun running it. Plus its free!

Eric is right, Into the Wilds would be great for your Druid. Its an outdoor/indoor kind of dungeon and gives you plenty to work with in the long term if that is what you want.

You could easily drop it anywhere in Faerun. The North, Moonsea, anywhere really. The Border Kingdoms (which have been heavily detailed of late) would be perfect as well.
