DM wants me to play custom druid. Please help me optimize a build for it!

Here's the page for the beastbound druid I'm using: Beastbound - RPG_SanDiego SRD

We're only using the standard Pathfinder PHB

I need help optimizing a build for a level 5 that will be frontline with a fighter (cleric and wizard in the back).

I plan to be in wildshape nonstop but need to manage outside of it until higher levels (when I'll be an animal nonstop).

1.

We're on a 25-point buy. Here's what I was thinking:

STR 16 (10) + 2 (human) +1 (level up) = 19 (21 in wild shape)
DEX 16 (10) (+2 natural armor in wild shape)
CON 14 (5) (little worried this might be too low)
WIS 14 (5) (WIS is not as important in this build)
INT 9 (-1)
CHA 7 (-4) (I'm a savage, so this feels appropriate)

OR

STR 18 (17) +2 (human) +1 (level up) = 21 (23 in wild shape)
DEX 14 (5) (+2 natural armor in wild shape)
CON 14 (5)
WIS 13 (3)
INT 9 (-1)
CHA 7 (-4)

2.

ALSO, I get 10,000 gold to start. Any suggestions for magic items, armor, weapons? (I'm only proficient with light weapons, bows, and natural attacks .___.)

I'm thinking:
Hide Armor
Druid's Vestment (+1 wild shape/day)
Metamagic Extend Rod

3.

ALSO, this custom druid gets improved unarmed strike at level 4. Does this make ANY sense? I get 4 feats so I could pick up weapon proficiencies if need be.

Thank you!!

Thank you for your help, guys! I am using that guide for pointers. Unfortunately, I can only pull feats from the first Handbook :\

Regarding AC, BAB, and attack rolls, what are good numbers to have for a melee character at level-5 in a 25-point ability buy?
