DMG II, it isn't all new stuff, and that's just fine!

Well if you're feeling fine Al, make sure to tell Demogorgon, Graz'zt and Orcus too. They'd probably like to get in on the fun, especially since they could send out a few Amaggeddon Beasts out for some chow. ;)

My expectation is that I'll end up thinking of three core books, two near-core books (UA & DMG2), and the rest as accessories.

The preview this month is on restricted spaces, however these rules have already appeared in the FR accessory Underdark, as I remember, almost exactly as they are presented in the preview.

Not to be a complete fangirl, but I giggled maniacally when I read that preview. Part of me hates the idea of "rebuying" previously published material, but since there are some books (like Underdark) that I would probably never buy, it's great to be able to get the good stuff I'd otherwise be missing.

Hi,

I had a read of the DMG II preview on the Wizards site today. It looks very good indeed -- I'm actually quite excited about it!

Cheers

Richard

If they EVER expand the SRD, this a few others (perhaps alternative classes like Warlock and stuff from the Complete series, feats if nothing else) along with house rules should be added.

Okay, I went from looks cool, maybe; to looks useful, quite likely; to holy moley, most definitely. This is going to be a spiffy book!
