Gust of Wind and Wall of Force Spells

Protection from Arrows

Counter-archers

Tower shields

Wizards that return arrows with fireballs

Lots of options.

You can put it on magic armor though. +2 to the value if I remember correctly.

Or everytime the player shoots something with a bow you could hit him with a rock. That always works.

In the game or in real life? :D If you start throwing rocks at the players sitting at the table, then you might want to beef up that DM screen a little for protection when they start throwing back, but it would definatly have a deterrent effect on players using bows.
 

My advice, send out 20-30 low level half orc barbarians with, improved bull rush, improved over-run and/or spirited charge feats. :)

Ah, sorry. My bad, didn't look things up first. The no DR in Antimatic field, does give rist to some interesting ideas with regards to fighting creatures with DR, especially epic level DRs.
