I looks fun, from what I've seen but I don't think I'll be buying it on line. I want to hold it in my hands first.

They paid quite some attention to detail. Haven´t tested the online app yet really.

Heroquest kicks some serious butt indeed. I still have my dutch copy of that game treasured as can be.... I noticed the dutch flag at the intro screen. Would that mean that WotC will finally make dutch translations of some of their products? Oh, if they only did that with their manuals... The amount of people I could convert then!

I can get to that site at work, using Windows and IE, but not at home, using Mac OS X and Safari. Oh well. Those who do not support the Mac platform do not get my business.

Just to note:

They actually have the rulebooks for download in one of the rooms of the demo. Frankly, it looks a lot like Heroquest--and that's a good thing!

Talisman.... own it

Both are great games....

but, I don't see the boardgame being a cross-over game, and if it isn't, it woun't last.

I use a Heroquest board and miniatures for my D&D games.

I reckon it's some form of Heroquest+ version, to introduce to a new generation. It's uncanny how many people are searching for a copy of heroquest. WotC might just fit in for those people with this edition. A drawback is that it hasn't got those neat props that heroquest has...

Sweet sweet HeroQuest..... I like many others was introduced to RPGs by that game. Just the sheer amount of little figures got my heart pumping when I got that game for christmas so long ago.
