I'm there. The store near me will have individual minis for certain and if not I'll buy off of ebay. And if this does well, I could see WotC releasing sets of armies and related things (PC's, villains, etc). I'm in until they start looking terrible. I don't have the time to paint minis so this is perfect for me...

Most certainly will buy some.

And whatever I get, I will get my money's worth out of, even if it kills the party!

DM: "Sorry guys, I got a Terrasque in that last box."
Player 1:"AHH!"
Player 2:"Um, I'll be absent the next game or two."
Player 3 passes out.

Seriously though, I can't see any mini bought having No place whatsoever in a campaign.. or being totally useless. Even if ya take the Chull and say "we're pretending it's a warhorse."

Nope, I won't buy any of them. I already have tons of minis for any character I could want, and I don't like the idea of random packs of minis. Also, the pics I have seen of the minis make them look to be pretty low quality and low-detail compared to metal minis by companies like Reaper.

I use counters instead of minis, so no, I won't be buying any of these.

I'm with Buttercup on the use of counters; they offer a lot of bang for the buck, and they get the job done nicely.

even easier than the cardboard counters are those colored glass counters. Less sorting and separating to do, and 3 or 4 colors is usually plenty.

I'm not likely to buy any for two reasons:
1) I'm pretty brand loyal to Reaper minis, which I love.
2) My primary group has an unspoken array of niches we all fill in contributing to the gaming supplies. I'm not the mini purchaser, and my buddy Alex will probably get some of these for the group's general use.

As a side note though, I'm not really keen on the idea of randomizing the figures included within the boxes. That's great that the average price per mini is quote low, but I generally have specific character/monster types in mind when purchasing figures.

I'll be buying them for several reasons:

1 - I've already seen some of them and think they did a great job on them.

2 - The cost works out to about $1.24 (before taxes) per miniature.

3 - They look like the monsters in the MM (no hunting for a close match or using something completely different).

4 - I don't have to spend time and money painting a hoard of minis and can instead focus just on the ones representing characters or special NPCs.

With all they have going for them it would be smart for retailers to buy extra cases and open them up to sell individually or in groups so that a DM who is looking for a group of skeletons or goblins can easily get them. Screw the whole randomness idea.

The only thing I'm concerned about is the scale. I'm not sure if they're smaller than standard (which seems to be 28mm these days). They looked as if they might be 25mm. Even the scale isn't that much of a problem.
