DnDXP pre-gens -> KotS?

Has anybody tried substituting D&DXP pregens into Keep on the Shadowfell?

I know the wizard has a few different powers that could easily be swapped around, and I imagine a few changes could be made with other class duplicates...

But what I'm most interested in is, has anybody who got a peek at an early copy of the PHB taken down notes on a level 2 utility power and a level 3 encounter power for ranger and fey warlock?

It would be cool to offer a couple extra options.

Conversely, for those who have a FLGS local that has a copy behind the front desk or whatnot, could we beseech you to check up on that?

I put out all the 'official' pregens for KOTS and DDXP and let them choose.

edit: The Halfling Paladin was laughed at multiple times by all players.

More fools they, because we've played both, and the Halfling Paladin is a noticeably better defender than the Dragonborn Paladin.

I'm also interested in finding this out. My DM has agreed to do a "test run" of 4E using KotS this weekend (and in subsequent weekends where our 8-person 3.5 game can't meet because of scheduling conflicts) to see whether or not we're going to make a transition into 4E. He'd also like everyone to have had some experience with the new system if we do transition over, meaning that we're all going to need a character.

That being said, we'll run into the problem of not having enough characters available to our group in order to try it out (plus, I'm sure folks will want to try different options, such as the warlock and the ranger). I wonder if there's any chance that the folks at WotC would re-release the DDXP characters in the new format, with some quick-level info for 2nd and 3rd levels.

I suppose it will be just 12 more days before we'll be able to do it ourselves, but I'm going to be playing the first installment tomorrow.
