Do Awards affect your Shopping habits?

I am not interested in many of the categories of product categories that are awarded Ennies... I don't care about supplements, monster books, and I rarely read new rules.

I am interested in adventures (for any system), and I typically purchase every adventure nominated in the "best adventure" category, and if an adventure is nominated in other categories (best interior art, best cartography), then I'll buy it even if it wasn't a "best adventure" nominee.

I almost never buy any RPG product unless it has appeared as a nominee or been very favorably reviewed by a reliable reviewer.

My tastes seem to be way out-of-step with the mainstream; awards like the ENnies don't hold much relevance to my gaming. Consequently, I ignore the awards.
