Just wondering if they keep their abilities when thye polymorph into human form. Obviously they cant fly anymore but do they keep spell like abilities and stuff like that. Also do they keep their stats like having a 43 str or does it go down to acceptable human stats.

Was just wondering because i was gonna have a silver dragon adventure with humans because he was bored and wanted some people to interact with.

They take on human stats. They lose supernatural abilities (including DR) but keep their spell-like abilities and sorcerer spells.

They keep their hit points, however.

I believe when you polymorph you take on the physical stats for an average specimen of the race, which for humans should be Str 10, Dex 11, Con 10.

Does a polymorphed dragon detect as magic? Because with my party it would take about 2 hours before they figured out something was up.

They detect as magic, so the dragon should cast Nondetection.

Dut nondetection protects against divinations, and detect magic is quite clearly a spell of the universal school.

Maybe try Nystul's Undetectable Aura?

Have her claim it's an Endurance spell or some other Transmutation effect. Nondetection may protect her from True Seeing, of course.
