do favored class bonus' stack?

hey guys quick question, my group has just switched to pathfinder from 3.5 and want to know if the favored class bonus' stack with one another? for an example, say a level 1 barbarian, for my favored class bonus i choose 1 skill point giving me a max of 5 skill ranks. at level 2 i choose 1 hp. will my level 2 skill points still be 5 even though i chose the hp instead? or will it revert to 4 skill points?

probably a stupid question but something i felt i should ask. thank you

No, you'd have 4 skill points at level 2. You choose each level to get +1 hp or skill point, you don't get both on a given level.

At level one you'll get the +1 Skill Point (5 points in skills). At level 2 if you take the +1 HP, you'll only get 4 skill points but won't lose the extra skill point you took at first level.
