Do multiple caster level bonuses stack?

When I said "in total" what I meant was that if there were two different feats that granted +4 to Cl up to HD. Then instead of applying that twice (as in +4 and another +4) I would limit it to +4 (up to HD).

Hmm. I think I'd apply +8, but it would still cap at HD... so if someone was a Wiz1/Ftr7, their caster level would be 8, not 9. Since either order you apply the feats, one of them will hit the HD limit.

Nope, you can only take the feat once per class. so that would be Caster level 5 (1+4)

A 4th level Cleric/4th level Wizard would be Caster level 8/8 though (if the feat is taken once per class)

Cleric 5/Wiz 5 would be 9/9 (note that's caster level only, it won't effect spells per day, or spells known)

Very hypothetical indeed . That sounds right though - and it also doesn't sound very powerful, or game-breaking anyhow (because of the HD limit).
