The swordmage example is a pretty good one. The grappler fighter however... the Thri.Kreen would actually make it worthwhile to play this build. I'd allow a 2handed weapon and a free hand to grapple. Or a shield and 1 handed weapon and a free hand to grapple. The grappling powers arent that good. I play a grappler in the Dark Sun Encounters. I will change his build as soon as I switch over to a full blown campaign when my DM gets the books. Without even thinking about it... unless I take the deft hurler feat... and quick draw... anyway, I digress. However a thrikreen grappler... that sounds pretty lethal!
However Im sure this issue will be quickly addressed and they will only be able to wield weapons in 2 hands. The other hands will be able to hold things, even weapons and shields etc, but I doubt they'll be able to wield them all at the same time. Like someone mentioned, it wouldn't make sense that they couldnt hold a measly bone dagger in their other hands, now would it? Maybe certain feats will take advantage of this, or even a thrikreen paragon path
