Do warforged dream of construct sheep?

Since Warforged aren't immune to mind-affecting, charm, compulsion, fear or morale effects, I would say they have a full range of human emotions available to them. Outside of combat (which they're pre-programed for) most would be uncomfortable because they have the emotional maturity of 1-10 year olds. Even the older Warforged would probably be emotionally (and/or socially) stunted since almost their whole lives has been taking orders and killing people (somthing that has proven to have brutal effects on even psyches with 16-20 years of normal socilizationunder their belts... though maybe this makes the Warforged more resistant to the trials of war), the combination of the two is probably the main reason behind the -2 Wis & Cha penalties Warforged have.

Ahhh, Warforged are such great role playing opporunities... but... but... so are Shifters and... and... Kalashtar and Changlings and... Talenta Halflings and... and... Valenar Elves and Seren Barbarians! Argh! I don't think I'll ever be able to play in an Eberron game 'cause I could never decide on a character to play.

I liked most of the Eberron races. Right now my favorite is a tossup between changelings and warforged. You could do some amazing things roleplaying either of them.
