Do you actually CARE about your PC?

It feels like this would be a good spot for an "Edena of Neith" story - now THERE's a character who's been reincarnated a few dozen times across different games! One forum poster has had his namesake character become a woman; become a Chosen of Mystra; die several times and be reborn; regain all his levels by gaining the XP at least twice; and a score of other things I've forgotten now.

There are people who put a lot into fleshing out the same PC, and then there's Edena of Neith.

Like many I've had my extrememly memorable characters...the ones I would think about every aspect. And I've had my duds, who lived, died, and I couldn't care less.

I've only had one memorable character that actually died in the game, and I was pretty upset when it happened (because I felt it was arbitrary).

But all was okay because the next one I played turned out to be one of my favorites too.
