Do you ever play in Eberron? It seems the production values and some of the setting specific themes are really top notch. So I'm curious as to how many people are enjoying it.

I've only recently started an Eberron game, but so far it's really fun. The world is intriguing and Action Points are just cool. Gnomes are interesting now, too.

I'm of the no and no desire to play it. But if my group wanted to play, I'd play along with them. But it is not something I would suggest. Too many other great and IMO better setting out there to try.

That being said, I'm currently in a Forgotten Relams game, another setting I really had no desire to play. So, it could happen.

I am always the DM, and while it is fun and all, after a few years you start to yearn for being a character and not knowing anything. I would play any setting with any system as long as I could be a player lol.

Plus Eberron seems like a cool setting, it rather reminds me of Arcanum of Steamworks Obscura (wonderful PC RPG by sierra).

If I'm going to be playing standard D&D, Eberron and Kalamar are the only settings that I'm really interested in. Although if my group wanted to play Greyhawk, or FR, or anything else, for that matter, I'd follow along without complaint. We're a good group that I have faith could make any setting fun.

And coincidentally, we were playing Eberron under one GM while I ran another game for the same group. Sadly, I think our Eberron game has ground to a permanent halt, but we'll see. We'd all be willing to pick it back up again.

I ran an Eberron game until recently, the adventures just didn't do it for me. They were some of the worst I've ever seen, particularly Queen with Burning Eyes and Whispers of the Vampire's Blade.

Nope and it's not really on my list. I checked out the core book and it just seemed like someone else's house rules to me. It certainly wasn't bad, I just didn't find anything too inspiring. I wouldn't be opposed to playing a campaign in it but there are definitely a lot of other things I would like to do first.

I played in it three times. My best moment was when our group was attacked by halflings riding pterodactyls while we were in a train. My ranger did shot with his crossbow through the roof, then opened the window and climbed outside to attack the halfling on the roof (all the while the train was moving). I like it because of all of those movies with action on a train's roof. I only regret to have not attempted to grab a halfling and throw him from the roof... :D
