I like them every now and then, for all of the reason already posted, (PC randomness, can't think straight...need adventure, and etc..etc.) I like to use James Buck's Dungeon Generator. It gives some good (what I'd call old fashioned) dungeon maps and even some room descriptions (monsters, treasures, etc). I keep the ones I want and modify the others. Works nicely I think.
