I believe you should. The formula for a rake generally seems to be: Claw damage + 1/2 Str bonus, so if the Str goes up, the bonus should go up too. I'm not sure what the formula for a constrict attack is, but I figure the damage should increase there too.

Seems to be weapon used to initiate grapple + str x 1.5 or some such

I also wondered about that topic in a previous thread.
Take a look at the giant octopus: it has a STR of 20, and yet its constrict bonus is at +6, between STR x 1 and STR x 1.5

But most of the time, it looks like this:
trample - based on Str, dmg = bonus x 1.5
constrict - based on Str, dmg = bonus x 1.5
rend - based on Str, dmg = bonus x 1.5
rake - based on Str, dmg = bonus x 0.5

I would still be happy about a definitive answer, though.
