Do you know of good writing resources online?

I know there has got to be a good writing site or two online. Something on par with pagetutor.com for web design, except for writing fiction.

Anyone got any links?

There are plenty of general fiction writing sites out there, the problem is that you probably are looking for something more specific (some of the sites are better at certain specifics than others). Are you looking to brush up on plot, character, particular genre? Or something else? Looking for 'storywriting systems'?

If you write fiction based on the "Elements of Style," no one but an English teacher will publish you. Your goal is to know the rules so you can toss them away and have a more naturalistic style. "Elements of Style" directs readers to create incredibly stiff writing. If you have a solid grounding in grammar and parts of speech, skip it and move on to the online Writer's Digest resources. (And it's a great, and cheap, magazine for writers of all stripes.)
