I think Reynolds work has pretty much defined 3rd edition for me the way Jeff Dee and Dave Trampier did for 1E

I think the choice of WAR and William O'Connor as the pointmen for 4E is inspired:)
 

He's occasionally got some weird proportions and bizarre poses, but mostly I think he's one of the top guys doing RPG stuff and has been for a few years. Having him do all the covers for Eberron was brilliant. Freeport has made the exact same extremely wise decision, and I like it all the better because of it.
 

Wayne Reynolds' art alone has sold me on books (Freeport, Eberron, etc). I'm delighted to see that his artwork will adorn the covers of 4e.
 


I like WAR's work on the inside covers of the Ebberon books. If that is the actual cover of the new PHB, I think it looks ugly as sin. It's really a shame.
