Do you only buy OGC content?

I think if more people in the RPG community would just recognize that they aren't publishers, there would be a lot less wasted bandwith on the subject, especially from those who have no vested interest, or even the legal expertise to even understand what the licenses mean.

Bravo! When it comes down to it - who cares? :)

No, but I always look at both the declaration and section 15 after I buy it. I have no idea why, but I think of companies that PI things like creature and spell names as stingy. What is the point when the stat blocks have to be open because of the derivation from the SRD?

I don't expect or desire an answer to that question.

Absolutely not.

For this particular consumer, a book (or content) being designated OGC or not is entirely meaningless. (And besides, I'm much [read: "only"] interested in products these days in which OGC is pretty insignificant: namely modules and FR products/products that can be easily inserted into the FR.)

I buy what I'll use at my table. OGC has no influence on the decision.

I'm not going to sacrifice fun for some "cause".

The amount of OGC doesn't affect my purchasing decisions.

That said, I understand where the people in support of more OGC on that other thread are coming from. It can seem rather silly, but just knowing "I may never publish with this, but I could" is a nice feeling.

I think a better question is "Given two books on basically the same topic, does the OGC of the books influence your decision to buy one over the other?"
